Dree Hemingway Vogue UK June 2011 1

Dree Hemingway has put her name on everybody’s lips. Not just because of her pedigree – she is great grand daughter of Ernest Hemingway, but also because she has an amazing beauty and a great style when it comes to fashion.

Today however, we are not going to debate on her personal style or rising career as a model, but on the editorial of Vogue UK from June 2011, worth watching even if you are not such a big fan of Dree and also if you are not at all into fashion.

The model, photographed by Tom Craig and styled by Bay Garnett, evokes that laziness feeling of a sunny Sunday afternoon. It kind of reminds me of Betty Draper from 1960’s drama Mad Men, because of the same elegance, discrete beauty and pale colors.

The whole atmosphere is very natural and it seems like Dree is a mistress in a rich family, enjoying a beautiful holiday. I find the whole editorial gorgeous. At first I could not believe that Vogue would go for something so non commercial, but here you have it.

Enjoy the photographs below and let us know if the editorial inspired you with any ideas. As for me, I can only say that this is how living feels like.
