The Duchess of Cambridge has been in the Royal Tour of Canada for only five days  and has already changed 9 outfits. Kate Middleton’s fashion choices until now included Erdem, Catherine Walker, Issa, and Smythe. Let’s see what she wore next in the afternoon of Day 4 and at the activities of Day 5.

On Day 4 of the Royal Tour she almost got us fooled that she will remain in the blue Erdem dress, but upon the arrival in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Kate put on a Vanessa sleeveless dress by Joseph and pale pink tweed jacket. The tweed jacket has been causing a lot of stir among fashionistas, which have been unable to identify it. As for the bag, Kate carried the LK Bennet Natalie Clutch.

Monday was an eventful day for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, day which started with the tour of Province House In Charlottetown.

This time the Duchess went for a knit cream pencil dress, with nautical inspiration and sailor collar, designed by Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen, the designer of Kate’s wedding dress. She used navy shoes to complete the white and blue outfit. It’s also the first time she pulls her hair back.

It is highly probable that Kate took inspiration for the outfit from Anne Shirley, the main character in the novel Anne of Green Gables – Kate’s favourite books as a child. Prince Edward Islands is the place where the books take place. Another interesting fact about the dress is that Sarah Jessica Parker wore the same dress on navy blue back in 2006.

Later in the day, the couple changed into more sporty outfits as they took part in activities involving water. Kate wore a navy trench coat, matched with a red scarf, J Brand Olympia skinny jeans and flats which have been identified as Sebago Ladies Tapue Bala Deck Shoesfor most of the afternoon.

As the couple competed one against the other in a dragon boat race, Kate changed again into an American brand for the first time  – Nike Windproof Anorak for Women Golf Jacket.

Even if the weather conditions were not the best ones, and the royal couple got a little wet, they did not fail to show their competitive spirit in the competition across Dalvay Lake. Prince William’s team won, however Kate kept looking natural and smiled at everyone despite the rainy weather. In the end, there were only laughs and hugs.

How do you find the Duchess of Cambridge coped with the unfavorable weather conditions? What about her more elegant outfits earlier on Monday? Does she keep surprising you or do you find her choices already predictable?
