After a series of unusual materials used to create works of art, I thought to myself that I settle down a bit and write about some paintings. Nothing exceptional so far. So I set out on a journey through the world wide web searching for something classic.

And I found something less settling than what I was looking for. Fresh art, just the way I like it: sizzling in oil on a canvas.

Victoria Reynolds is one of the unconventional artists that strives to twist the view of people about art. And she does a pretty good job since her artworks revolve around meat. I’m not talking about Lady Gaga‘s meat dress kind of art, but more like Rembrandt’s Slaughtered Ox. She paints meat, raw meat or even something that resembles salami.

Maybe if you actually see such an exhibition, you’ll probably either be dying for a steak afterwards or after such a grueling sight, you’ll want to sink your teeth into a broccoli, or in any healthy meal for that matter, just to wash off all that meat. Both the sight of it and inevitably that taste that comes along with gazing.
