Glamorous Looks From The 2012 Academy Awards
A lot of stars hit the red carpet on Sunday night, for the 84th Annual Academy Awards. And while many movie enthusiasts were looking forward for the ceremony to begin, fashion addicts from all around the world were focused on the red carpet.
Hollywood’s biggest night brought us sophisticated looks, gorgeous gowns and stunning accessories. Scroll down for 15 glamorous appearances from the Oscars red carpet.
Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab Couture
The model turned actress looked stunning wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture gown. One of the best looks of the night, in our humble opinion. She completed her outfit with Edie Parker clutch and Elie Saab platforms.
Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen
Another beautiful gown was worn by ‘The Help’ actress, who opted for a strapless Alexander McQueen gown.
Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford
We don’t know about you, but this is definitely our favorite look from this year’s Academy Awards red carpet. Gwyneth wore a Tom Ford white dress with a beautiful cape, and polished her look with a stylish ponytail. Gorgeous!
Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton
The ‘Best Actress’ nominee choose a red Louis Vuitton gown. Fashion critics seem to think she looked amazing, but we weren’t that impressed. Also, the necklace doesn’t really go with her outfit.
Tina Fey in Carolina Herrera

This is one of the best looks Tina Fey pulled off recently. Her custom Carolina Herrera strapless gown was accessorized with a Roger Vivier Short Night clutch and Bulgari jewels. Her updo is also perfect for the fancy occasion.
Natalie Portman in Vintage Christian Dior
Natalie had a baby only a few months ago. And she rocked the red carpet in this vintage Christian Dior gown. Impressive.
Stacey Keibler in Marchesa
George Clooney’s plus one was glowing like an Oscar statuette in a stunning Marchesa gown at The Academy Awards. Dare we say her look was completed by her beautiful smile?

Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace
Although her pose looks a little forced and very, very complicated, the gorgeous Angelina pulled it off. The Atelier Versace gown was teamed with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes.
Rooney Mara in Givenchy
Yay, we got to see Ronney Mara wearing something that isn’t black! She opted for a Givenchy Couture gown from the Spring 2009 collection.
