The red band trailer for one of the most anticipated movies of the year, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, directed by David Fincher, has just been uploaded on YouTube.

The movie, which is a remake after the Swedish Män som hatar kvinnor, released in 2009 and based on Stieg Larsson’s novel, will hit US theaters in December. The trailer hasn’t been officially released yet, but it was uploaded on YouTube at a pretty decent quality and, because it wasn’t pulled off yet, I guess we should assume it was leaked intentionally. Personally, that makes me quite happy, because it looks amazing.

I’m a fan of David Fincher since I first saw Se7en, and I enjoyed most of his movies since then, especially Fight Club, Zodiac and the more recent The Social Network. And yes, I was disappointed that he wasn’t awarded an Oscar for the last one.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo tells the tale of a journalist who is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing – or dead – for forty years by a young female hacker. It stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara.

So, what do you think? Are you looking forward to December?
