Day 7 of the Royal Tour was supposed to be a day off for the couple, but on the last minute they decided to visit Slave Lake in Alberta. The unscheduled visit is due to the fact that the couple knew about the wildfires which hit the town in May 2011 and wanted to see the damage in person, meet the families and rescue workers and cheer up the spirits.
The Duchess’ fashion show continued more quietly on Wednesday, as she wore most of the items seen before on the Royal Tour. The only new items were a brown belt by Linda Camm and a ruffled white shirt by Malene Birger, the Danish designer of Kate Middleton’s cream Bullet dress from Day 6.
The J Brand navy jeans from Day 6 were also kept, to which Kate added the famous Smythe navy blazer, the same one she wore in London when she departed for Canada. Finally, the Duchess wore for the third time the black slingback LK Bennet Wedges we’ve seen earlier on the tour.
As the couple’s visit to Canada is almost over, how do you think Kate managed with her fashion choices by now? Which ones did you enjoy best? What about her recent outfits? Will she depart from Canada without a final “number”?
