Ladies, if you want to become fashion models, gather your face powders, lipsticks, nail polish and cremes, and start a cosmetics fight! While you’re at it, also make sure there’s a professional photographer there to take pictures, and when you run out of cosmetics, try paint — it works equally well.
This is how one of Iain Crawford’s exhibitions looks like. The powder and paint provide a very modern interpretation for the make-up and the concept of beauty and fashion. It’s not only cosmetics though, it’s also paint and also some experimenting focusing on hairstyles. These high speed photography examples capture the cosmetics in midair, split-seconds before they start pouring on the models. The effect, as you can see is colorful and dare I say breathtaking.
