How did you get started in business?

Even as a kid I always knew I wanted to own my own business. My professional career began in corporate security and shortly after I pivoted to alternative financial industries. It was about that time when I launched Platinum Rapid Funding.

What keeps you motivated each day?

Working with my team, listening to music, taking mind breaks, and continuously validating our clients and the work makes sure I am motivated everyday. Anytime I feel like I am not motivated take a break and connect with family and friends.

What is your all time favorite quote?

This one is easy, “The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with One Step” by Lao Tzu. I have always studied his philosophies and this quote is one that really drove me to take the leap as an entrepreneur.

What do you do in your free time?

I spend as much time with my family and friends as possible. Traveling, working out, and driving experiences are some of the things that really keep me balanced. I always make sure to plan things a month or two ahead of time as it allows me to look forward to it and wrap goals to complete before taking some time away from the business.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a business?

Be ready to work a lot and spend lots of money. I believe it is extremely important to have at least 1 year of expenses saved up or to start building your business while you work and make money. To take the leap is a major challenge if you do not have immediate income to live and survive. For young people with no major expenses or people they need to support. Take a chance, take a risk, it may be your only chance!
