Happy day for Community fans everywhere! After a long and painful hiatus, NBC has finally set the date for the return of the series! As the creator of Community Dan Harmon announced on Tuesday via Twitter, the show will be back on Thursday evenings starting March 15.

‘What you call 8:00, we call home. Community returns to Thursday nights on March 15th’, the showrunner tweeted. Season 3 of the series has 12 unaired episodes left.

Community fans took the news with lots of excitement. The show was supposed to be back in January, but has been benched to make way for the return of 30 Rock. Fans started wondering if Community was indeed canceled, because no return date was announced. Apparently the show was just taking a breather. A long, long breather.
