The 2011 Billboard Music Awards were held in Las Vegas on Sunday. The big winner of the night was Justin Bieber (!), who took home 7 awards, followed by Eminem with 6.  For a full list of winners check out the event’s official website.

But that is not all. The red carpet was jammed with celebrities all dressed up, wearing designs by Elie Saab, Dolce&Gabbana, Max Azria, Alexander McQueen and many more. We also had some memorable performances: Cee Lo Green, Rihanna featuring Britney Spears, Beyonce and The Black Eyed Peas.

Outfits

Selena Gomez opted for a sexy look wearing a Dolce & Gabbana cut out dress with a gathered waist and thigh-high split. Her sleek straight hair completed the look.

Rihanna decided to wear a simple ensemble for the event: an oversized Max Azria white suit, paired with nude Louboutin’s and a Jack Vartanian emerald ring.

Taylor Swift wore a stunning Elie Saab nude gown with bronze embellishments. Although the dress was amazing, it was a little too much for an event like the Billboard Music Awards, where celebrities usually go for some more bold, stylish choices.

Beyonce Knowles decided to keep it simple and wore a Lanvin Fall 2011 dress. A little too simple, unfortunately.

Nicole Kidman wore a Dries van Noten Fall 2011 dress, looking pretty comfortable. Hooped earrings and a stylish messy plait completed her sexy-casual look.

Fergie made a bold choice this time and wore a Hervé Léger by Max Azria Atelier dress. Personally, I love her make-up – she always looks so pretty with smokey eyes.
